what's the use of ekonsole.
i find it a waste lying in my mobile

Its an application with the help of which you can actually enter Linux commands and work through your phone... Doesn't acquire much space but can be of great use sometimes...

u can do many things with it like moving files,copy delete ect but yes no 1 wants to type commands when then can just use explrer programs.
The best use i have to say is u can brag u have unix installed in ur phone to other non E6 users

Hey, one of the art of UNIX is the shell itself. Somehow--typing all the command really makes sense that **you do sth**, raher than GUI which sometimes you do less understand whlist consumes more resource.

some people would want to collect seeds, plant them grow trees wait for it to give fruits then eat it and feel a sense of satisfaction, others would find it a pain and got to market and buy n eat the fruit,wat big deal if u have to pay 4 it,it saves time and effort.
so it all depends on wat u feel.
both have their own views and both are correct in their own way.
u can also be both .

Sometimes it may be the most needed piece of software in your phone.
But for a windows user, it is worthless (ignorance, largely) and our modders doing great job here, making the modding as painless as possible, it is also becoming useless (or less-used, lets say?)

one can use it to change file permission to be able to delete files which can't be deleted easily,like some viruses
