Most f/w's have the same basic method to install skins and s/w :either an inbuilt installer or you have to install a standalone mpkg installer.Both are convenient.
If you prefer the former , then flash to any of the latest .22p modded f/w (Nik's series).
As far as looks are concerned , the f/w you are trying to flash with is just the right one (if it is the Extreme version) and also has enough potential for modding easily.
As for the problem , take out battery for 15 minutes or so and let the phone sit there.
After that re-insert battery (w/o memory card) and do a master reset and plug the phone to charge.

E6 Battery Problem!! Need Help URGENT!!
Hey GUyZ!! i FLashed with a new firmware... i think its that niks Roxx One... But The Phone is not charging.... it shows charging and everything but it doesnt seem to go more than 5% and battery goes out after lke 2 mins!! i had the same problem b4 but it was fixed with that reset clear and restart process.. i have treid that again but it doesnt seem to help! plz help.. and should i flash to another firmware? if so then what is the Best Firmware up till now... Id Go For Looks and i dont need Edge.. if its there then good if its not thn its not a problem.. but all i want is so tht i can easily install Skins and softwares... thx!

Wow... a New battery.. i wish i had cash.. but i dont
my dad asked me for my phone cuz he had to go somewhere n he needed it... it was important.. so i gave it to him.. he just came and he was angry! he said why do u keep such a phone whichs batteryy isnt even charge.. now i got told becuz of my e6...

well yes i see what u mean... but it isnt a problem with the battery.. cuz it waz charging... and nopw again i got it to charge... lets just hope it doesnt do tht again.. thxxx!

What are you trying to charge it with? Wall adapter, or computer usb?
