can somebody can port gps app from A1600

can we install gps app or any one an port it here from A1600 to work on e6 as A1600 has 30 cities pre install maps which can work offline also.

i guess mr. akshay already mentioned that a1600 has got pre-installed maps for 30 cities. may be he want someone to port just the maps and not the whole app. on a second thought, that would be unnecessary as we already have a few apps like that.

as i know that e6 has not gps reciver but if we install gps application which is pre insatalled in A1600 as real player has ported for e6 similarly gps app for e6 can work by just viewing 30 pre installed maps in that app as other apps like mgm maps, google maps has not got pre installed maps.
so any body can port it?

i have a gps reciever i use with my E6 and AmazeGPS, it doesnt have installed maps. It would be great to have A1600 gps software ported to the E6 to work with an external reciever.

I dont get it. If "preinstalled maps" are all you are looking for, what is wrong with applications like mgmaps and stuff. They'll give you any map at any clarity which you can "preinstall" into your phone.
