    And how would he telnet with a locked phone?

    Are you sure USBlan is not working on a locked phone?

    I mean he got his touchscreen locked .

    And i am rather unfamiliar to the term USB lan , all I know is USBnet present in the Setup menu for telnet access or the independent telnet method.

    To access that he must switch the mode to ''USBnet'' from mass storage/modem/webcamera.

    *It can work IF the usb mode is already set to ''USB net''.

    Grant me wisdom if I lack some.

    USBlan USBnet same thing different name
    if he has luck and it is set to USB net it is working.
    test it to believe me
