first of all you should lodge a complain/FIR so that you did not get into some trouble and cops might do something.
I read somewhere in this site an application for antitheft, but its no use now as you have lost it.

My Precious Rokr E6 Got Stolen in a Public Bus [Still In Shock]
My precious Rokr E6..got stolen today
as i was travelling in the Public Blue line bus (Delhi)...Im still not able to recover from shock 
and will surely not be able to sleep..as it will haunt me in my dreams..people, is there any way of getting it back!! I know it sounds meaningless but still is there any hope that I can recover it Through my IMEI NO...is there any website or so...i know the first thing to do is FIR from the Police..but U know that its just a formality...please someone suggest what steps should be taken so that there is a chance I might find it...Due to this HEAVY loss..i will also not be able to contribute that much to motorolafans..as i contributed earlier..people living specially in Delhi or India please suggest me what to do in order to find the phone
..and others are most welcome..

bro its possible 2 recover ur fone.....FIR is al tat is needed......i'm in b'lore n i of my fren's fone ws stolen a month ago,n d culprit ws tracked cuz he ws using d fone.....n he got bak his fone......

Gsm operators perfectly know the phone IMEI, but most of the time, they think it's better for them to let the phone be used (and make money with it
), and prefer not to report them to the cops, or keep the secrets, and don't work with the cops... I think it's for bad reason, but maybe in india, they are different, i just report what i've been said at the police ... Try to speak with them...

They usually dont do anything.
ALl that has to be done is get the FIR at the police station, then take a copy of it and hand it over to the network provider, who then can block the phone from being used in the country. Remember that if its taken outside the country, it can be unlocked
