Battery problem

Whenever I connect my phone to a charger my phone hangs n it shows that the Phone is connected in USB mode..n after a while it restarts itself..!!
this happens mostly when my battery is a bit low.!!
I am facing this problem since the day when i started flashing
can this problem be solved
m I the only one facing such problem??

Done everything told in those threads
Damn I don't wanna get my USB part changed
I hope my phone works till MAY I'll get a new phone by then..!!
Doing mater reset does not help..!! Changed the charger even.. THe phone charges but it shows the USB mode often..!!
So what I did made the USB mode to Modem Now at least I don't have to restart my phone
