Remove remaining icons

Hi,

I just removed some (a player) pkg installed programmes from my SD Card.Just plugged in to pc and selected the folder then delete.Because I was unable to find how to uninstall pkg files.

anyway now program deleted and there are some yellow color exclamation mark icons remaining.I dont know how to remove those icons.Anybody know how to remove how do I find that icon place and remove it

DO YOU HAVE THE NEW MPKG INSTALLER, IF YES.
just select MPKG and then select uninstall, the phone will refresh and now the PKG application can be uninstalled like java application. This way your pkg application is completely uninstalled

open registry file in MMC/MMCa1/.system/java/cardregistry with WORDPAD

and then delete the registry of the application

How did you install the pkg applications??

SmartAssistant,MPKG installer-they have uninstall utilities,so you should uninstall through them.

now that you have done it the wrong way,open your card registry and delete all the entries relating to the folders(application) which you have deleted.

And restart your cell.

PS-use notepad++ or word pad to edit the file and save in unicode/unix format or else it wont work.
