Google maps not working on E6

Hi everybody,

The google maps is just not working on my phone... I have ROKR E6 konig_22p F/W.

I tried installing the file .jar from getjar.. tried the .jar file from google site..

nothing hapens.... the screen just flashes and back to square one... nothing...


plz help me.... I really want his s/w...
if u have any setup file plz send me.. that also might help...

if special icon of google maps is there in your phone then its working if its not icon like java not working.
download from google web again.....

i downloaded it from wap.google.com-->Gmaps!

thanx everyone for replyin...

smoke I downloaded the file from the link you gave...
I removed the .zip from the file and installed the gmaps.jar --> it said invalid file package
I extracted the .zip file, got gmaps.jar.jar,installed it --> invalid file package
removed the extra jar from the file, installed gmaps.jar --> still invalid file package....

dunno wats happening....

as with the previous installation this is the icon that I got... (see attachment)

Its the same icon that I got for mGaurd app...so I guess thats not the google icon....!!

plz tell me wats goin wrong...!!
