Lightbulb Suggestion for solving battery problem of Qeilock

Edit: plz somebody tell me names of programmers & developers so that i can contact them & verify this. Maybe we get a good application. thnx

last day an idea struck in my mind that how to solve battery problem of qeilock. As we all know it consumes so much battery. The alternative methods like screenlock seems better in battery life. I was thinking of reason & after using a week that screenlock i realize that the problem of qeilock is that it continuously remain active even when the lcd is off. It keeps changing time in form of number pictures in res folder. On the other hand, in screenlock, its time freeze after lcd is off ,i.e, it itself move to sleep mode. When we press any button, it first shows old time & then screen blinks & changes to current time.It takes nearly one sec. to change time. Not so harm. So if any developer could make qeilock to get in sleep mode when screen gets off then it will b good or developers get idea from screenlock application.
here i also wanna say that 2-3 days ago i left my phone on whole night with screenlock on & it consumed negligible battery life.

i dont know my thinking is right or wrong but developers or others whoever read this plz tell me am i thinking right?
    regards,

Ya Master I found it alright I just wanted to be confirmed from you whether Qeilock really consumes battery life ?? Is the side lock ( default side - key lock ) a much better option ??

If you don't feel that qeilock consumes battery life / it is not messing up with YOUR standby time then you DON'T NEED TO WORRY.Use it the way you want as many times you want only till when the feeling remains there

i couldnt find any screenshots for sLock. Can anyone put a screenshot of slock and qeilock so newbies can compare the looks. I'm sure "they" will be grateful.
