telnet problem

Hi,
i did some easy stuff to my e6 but i am not getting telnet. hopefully you guys can help me out quickly.
i am trying to get FingerPad on my phone and i realized that i need to telnet my phone.

I got up to step 13, i found my ip address but i could not telnet. When i enter telnet into my cmd, it says

'telnet' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

Wondering what went wrong and how do i fix it? thanks for anyone's help

So i installed RSD lite 4.4.1 and used motorola usb driver 3.7.0.
When i install rsd lite 4.4.1 it has error message

This version of windows you have installed does not match the update you are trying to install.
i just ignored it and keep installing.

And then i opened rsd lite. power up my phone in MBM mode. drivers are installed. Then rsd lite phone shows up. and i put the first fw file ***.sbf into the file line. here is where the problem comes. rsd lite did not allow me to start. the start button remained grey and unpressable. Stuck here.

okay so try this fw. repeat procedure as above. this time they let me press the start button. but somehow it stopped flashing immediately...saying something flashing failed. phone connected. some (0x7100) stuff. the result is fail.

that's what i have done so far and don't know what to do next to fix those problems.

Ur PC operating system is Microsoft VISTA??? vista cmd does not support telnet.

Hey guys,
Thanks i got telnet the command to work. but when i telnet it, it said it couldn't connect to port 23.

i tried to do the other step in the guide given but it doesn't work either.

i think it might be some problem with installing driver. when i plug the phone it, vista seems to dl and install the driver from online. when i hold and open tlng, is there someway to check i am doing the right thing while installing driver, because i don't see any message from opening tlng file??

make sure u hv downloaded f/w *.zip/*.rar completely/correctly.
while selecting F/w make sure it is not compressed file i.e. .zip/.rar it should be unzip to ***.sbf .

file is correct. dl second and third time, same result. there must be some steps i am missing. maybe driver pack. i don't remember installing drivers pack. i just remember installing rsd lite.

did u hv installed motorola usb driver (win-32bit) v3.7.0 driver??
~use rsd lit 3.6.
~use back slots of cpu usb.

Procedure
1>Install motorola usb driver v3.7.0(Restart PC)
2>Install RSD LITE 3.6(Best version avoid other)(Restart PC)
3>start Rsd LITE start phone in MBM mode(alwayes use Back USB)
(Press Camera button + on button together)
4>A no. of drivers will install automatically.
5>after completion phone search(take abt 1 min)
select firmware and click start button.
6>It will show process n will automatically install drivers take 10 min or few more min.
7>it take few more min while completing process from 99% to 100%.
8>After that It will ask for manually restart Phone.
9>After restart select phone in modem mode(in setup)after that rsd lite will PASS phone.
