auto bluetooth off - Sumthing new i came acroosss

hey did nyone knew that our rokr supports auto bluetooth off....however it has not been specified nywhere...it is set to 5 mins for idle bluetooth and 3 mins for discoverable(that i knew!!)...........

sorry for my dumbness if u knew it already~ n considered it sumthing 'chintu' to share! LOLZ

ok for dat ...
but my phone is no alien .....there is no option to see or change it directly through phone itself..............if u turn on blue tooth and then wait for 5 mins without using bluetooh...(no transfers) then it will get off automatically.............i telneted to phone and found i file where it was written Auto Power Off Timeout =5..................i changed it to 2 n now my bluetooth gets off automatically in 2 mins idle time...............i even changed the option Discoverable period to 2 from three and so my bluetooth gets off in 2 mins even at discoverable mood!

ur welcum yar....just change it to 1 or 2 ....surely it will pose some change on battery!......(sumtimes we forget to close bluetooth!)

n yes you can also change default bluetooth name....everytime it used to be Motorola Moto Rokr..........
