Using Opera but still viewing mobile sites?

Why is it that even though I am using Opera broswer when I go to a website, it gives me the mobile version of the site? I thought opera allows you to view the whole site as if you are on a computer? Anyway to fix this problem? I am using the Fido network. Thanks

Thanks. It really is alot more expensive on data. Guess I will be using WAP. Is there any website with categorized links to working WAP sites?
