Default New E6 Firmware Dec 2008

    I have bought a E6 on Dec 2008 and has R535H10_G_11.87.22PBPFlex: GSZMCAUEMSWAINRT003DSP: 63383800Technology: Tri-Band GSM firmware.

After reading Sticky How to Mod thread I tried various mpkg and linloader installer but still cannot install pkg or mpkg files, also tried with yan0s mpkg installer linloader that to failed. Any other way to get .pkg files working on this latest firmware ?

P.S: This generic firmware is also missing in Download E6 Firmware if any one has a backup or download of this latest firmware please share.

before flashing keep in mind that your warranty will get void
    so
instead of flashing yourself go to ur motorola service and tell them any imaginary software problem with the handset , most of the times they dont
    check whether it is true
and if u tell them that u r having problem with software like its hanging or anything they will flash ur phone & install any other firmware and ur warranty wil also be secured !!!!!

1.No they wont come to know if you flash with a variant of your generic f/w that came with the phone.Better flash with Ahman's hybrid.

2..08p is much much better than .22p.
.22p has the only advantage that it is newer.

you see the basic difference is that .22p dos not support mpkg.
konig has given access to it , modding it.

But as for .08p v/s .22p ,.22p lacks native mpkg support(which you will cure by flashing to Konig's .22p) , screen 3 is absent ,Ahman's hybrid has voice recognition whereas .22p lacks it (including Konig's) , .08p is pretty fast and .22p bit on the slower side.

This is just an outline , go read the discussion at the respective threads and you will come to know in detail about their advantages and disadvantages.

    Hope it helps.

Screen 3 is a component which adds itself to the home screen of e6 and is used for streaming headlines , web feeds , live scores, etc.It is not available in all countries. But if it is available in your country , don't dare to miss it.It is a unique feature of rokr e6.

Branded CMCC f/w is the original f/w made in china and not customized for the average user.It has a red screen bootup , and some native apps you wont find in the E6 you buy from a country other than china. However it can be installed and taken use of.it has certain limitations and an unbranded f/w is most popular.

Smartass stands for smart assistant and it is used for installing mpkg files. It has various other features such as backup and theme installation of .mtf format. It is lately the most popular mpkg installing s/w although i dont recommend it.It can be a pain sometimes.better use the mpkg installer that comes up with linloader and busybox.
