[Help] E6 key locks itself

since today morning has started to key lock itself.. although i tried locking and then unlocking it from lock switch on the side it makes no difference.. i tried removing the battery and reinserting it but on some occasions it just displays the key lock is active and on the other occasions it starts up and then locks its self..

what is causing this? how could i fix it?

may be ur lock got damaged internally ..try giving ur cell a jerk.. it worked for me though hope it does for u as well

hi, I think the problem is inside so there are actually two possible scenarios for you, my friend:
1) disassemble your handset and see what is wrong with this part (locker) inside - I am more than sure the issue is there.
2) get your phone to the Service Center (make sure it's an authorised and reliable - not some basement sweatshop ) if you're not sure you can cope with the 1st scenario.

i think i'll proceed with option 2 for now since the phone is still under warranty

If ya are talking about internal key lock ( not the hardware lock) , then you can escape the problem by flashing out of the firmware.
