E6 General Chat Motorola ROKR E6 is somehow a candybar version of the A1200 as they functions very similarly but with far more multimedia capabilities!

IMHO amazegps sucks!

google for Trekbuddy
- it supports touchscreen
- long tested on E6 (with Holux M-1000 bluetooth GPS receiver) and proved to work great
- suppports offline maps (from SD card)

P.S. !!!No need to click {Thank you!} unless you you really feel like doing this!!! LOL ))))))

I told you amazegps sucks - that's why you cannot even access the webpage LOL

If you are really interested in GPS navigation running you need to display more enthusiasm, man.

Just follow the link above that I've posted and go thorugh the FAQ, Forum threads and General Info there - it will be of more help than my thoughts, believe me.

Trekbuddy version 0.9.76 which I had previously installed on my Moto pretty long time back got connected with M-1000B right away with no problems - I also have cutted maps of my region stored on SD card - so Trekbuddy instantly showed me my location.

Not really serious bug report as far - had very little time to play with it:

The only thing that I have discovered that backlight option is not working whatever status (on/off) I set for it the screen turns out as set in the mobile properties, so maybe phone doesn't get this command sent through correctly from TB?

Then I used version 0.9.80 and this is what I reported:

1) I cannot access Backlight option to turn it on or off tapping the upper right corner of the screen (though I could access it in 0.9.76)

I have set to option to always record tracklog in GPX format and display my movement on the map but

2) It only records track to some point and then stops albeit receiver is working fine and I can still see line that shows my movement on the map.

I have a map of Kishinev sliced to 320x240 tiles with tbcutter and the very same map but in one file which I work with on my PC with OziEplorer

3) When I turn on receiver and use Trekbuddy on my Motorola it shows me my exact location (with accuracy of 2 or 2,5 meters - ok, maybe not that accurate, but when I look at the map this is what I see ) on the map but when I export GPX tracklog to OziExplorer it shifts my track 20-25 meters to the North.

Looks like he is a legal advisor for trek buddy!

And pls see : do not interfere with my posts unnecessarily.
