I find the aspect ratio is not adjusted by ZMplayer. So if the video is something like 16/9, the video is stretched vertically. If the black borders however are part of the encoded video then it won't be removed. Remember, it's only a phone..

The solution is this. Reenode the video at a the resolution that will suit the phone's ratio of 3:4

Be warned, the video might seem streched if you do this.
