|  e6 music sounding like cheap chinese phone
hey guys, for past few days, my e6 started to sound way too bad. i tried every player, but same results. real player even skips part of song sometime. i tried master reset too, but no help. only a week back, my warranty got over, so can't even look forward to a service center.
i tried my original earphones, S9, a coby earphone set (one that comes with ipod touch), and the internal speakers. changing volume table is not helping. what shud i do? is this a problem with my processor, cuz, all the games lag a lot too. The java games that i found on this forum also lags, even with increased heap size. Help me plz/......

maybe its a hardware issue (i dont know exactly about it) u must go to mototrola service centre its costly but at least u will come 2 know whats d prob but giv a try maybe someone else knows about it.

Might be worth changing the firmware to see if that helps, before taking it to a service centre.

It's probably some eq setting (in exmms or something) which has ended up affecting the entire phone.
Turn off your phone, take the battery out and let lie for 10 seconds, restart and see if it helps.

Fully discharge your battery, take it out for 10 mins or so , recharge fully and master reset.Remember master clear is of no use in these cases.

try changing your volumetable.cfg

u can change it using mystuff or horse power .volumetable is located in usr/sysqtap/sound.

well, i was trying all these option. but sadly nothing worked. oh yeah, i didn't tried flashing. didn't got enuf time from my job to do so. will try that one too. anyways thanks for ur responses.
well, which f/w is the best for music? also, is there any better version of eXMMS out there. i am using ver 3.3 but that doesn't play mp3 files with bitrates higher than 500kbps, and neither the shuffle works.
