don't know phone unlock code. can't decipher what it really is..

motorola service center says if it can not be unlocked with unlock code., it should be restarted. (in forum terms, "vanilla")..

can flashing my e6 to the same firmware fix the problem?

yes of course.. then again, i was looking into the steps on how to flash e6, it says you should place it on Bootloader Mode - MBM

understanding this correctly, i can place e6 on this mode even if it is phone locked..
