Anybody experiencing the same?

Got my 4GB card yesterday, working well. It almost 3.6GB full. But one immediate thing I notice is the phone has now become a bit sluggish. I don't run anything other than Mcleaner constantly in memory. I used to run the StarMenu, but closing it has definitely increased the phone performance when I run other java applications. Maybe its not related as some java applications (games) still run slow after some time. For example Roland Gaross game, in tournament mode (6 game set, 3 set match) works well until the start of the 3rd set, where it becomes really sluggish.

Playing videos in real player seems to be the worst affected. I am losing frames. I don't have zmplayer (it wont install for some reason on my phone), so don't know if its real player or the new card.

No such problems in Xmms player, I have more than 300 hundred songs in my playlist. No issues here. Most other applications I use work ok (java / native).

Phone startup time has increased by 1 sec or so, but other phone functions are working generally ok.

Alright, I managed to get QEZXPlayer going on my phone and actually do not see any of the issues which I have with real player. Get pretty awesome frame rate, can play most video types (including xvid)! Though do have an issue with large files which I will post in the QEZXPlayer thread.

And I think the java issue is also not related to the card. I will keep searching the forum on how to increase the speed of java games.

And maybe I should really consider using a firmware which supports swap memory. But then I am not going to flash until there is an official motorolafans firmware available.

Hey, can you tell me where to buy a 4GB SD card in Pune? I have been searching everywhere, but everyone has only SDHC cards. And I don't want to buy on the internet because I don't have a credit card or a paypal account.

Its not available in Pune AFAIK. I bought it online.
