E6 General Chat Motorola ROKR E6 is somehow a candybar version of the A1200 as they functions very similarly but with far more multimedia capabilities!

QUAD is four and BAND is the radio carrier frequency. Different areas use different frequencies so having 4 frequencies means you can travel to more places, BTW You made a post three times for the same question in the wrong forum for your phone.

Quad-band generally refers to a device that supports 4 different GSM frequency bands.
It covers 850Mhz, 900MHz, 1800MHz and 1900MHz frequency ranges.
So in simple terms a quad-band device will work pretty much anywhere in the world where there is GSM service.

If you still have doubts then google for Quadband will find tons of info....

Do you see an 'E' come up instead of the 'G' (right beside the signal indicator)?

I am facing the same issue too. The 'E' icon is coming up but receiving pathetic speeds of 1-2 KB/ps

Check this thread here: [Query] Regarding EDGE
