hey, after doing evrything im gettin this msg:---FTP folder error
windows cannot access this folder.make sure you have the permission to access the folder...

DETAILS:- a connection with the server could not be established.

Try using the motnet.pkg...i have pasted the link that is available in post #17 for thread "Guide to Telnet into the E6** in Motorola EZX Phones"

- download, install, then connect your phone as Modem, tap on 'motnet' in menu and done...
Got to IE and type \\192.168.16.2\system
Now you should be able to view all the contents

Here's updated version of my motnet: http://dl-client.getdropbox.com/u/28...rola/motnet.7z (unpack with 7zip to get .pkg - install with your favorite installer. uninstall previous versions). It has built-in telnet, samba, ftp and www server (with php! you can put your www in /mmc/mmca1/.system/QTDownLoad/motnet/htdocs)

Thanks a lot for the info, but this does not allow to change and data, we can only view and copy them, all the folders have read access but not write access. We cannot make changes to any files. Is there a solution for that too???

Erm, that's strange, it works for me. I can upload/download/overwrite files with both samba and ftp...
Of course I use it only to change read-write locations, mostly MMC card, so it can't work with other, obviously
