Phone gets restarted??????very weird

Hi Rokrs,

I am facing a some problems listed below...plz help me out in this!!!

1. My touchscreen menus doesnot function correctly..after restarting my phone they start working.

2. Suddenly it my antenna gets turned off. Then again i have to restart my mobile. Some times after restarting it doesn't recognize the phone numbers on memory card.

3. When i have call waiting and trying to lift the incoming call then phone restarts automatically.

I have the basic firmware from Motorola..ie .08p. I have been using the rokr from nearly a year. I am getting this problems from past 1 month. Unable to bear these problem..

Please help me out...

Maybe this prob. is due to improper SIM fixing, which took place wid me.
Try out fixing the sim up or down or Use your phone for 1-2 days with another sim and see if that happens or not..

.08p is a very stable firmware,don't know whay that would happen. could you give some more info so that we could help you better, did you enable edge/Quadband, etc...and when did this problem really started..did you try doing a Master Reset???

backup every thing..and do a master clear...if the problem is still not gone..then change ur firmware...and still if there's any problem then ur screen is damaged internally..and needs to be fixed or replaced..

Thanks Kunal.. I have tried that replacing with my other sim card. Phone works fine untill now...I will try other things like master reset also with the sim which i was facing problem...

Sagar I replaced my screen recently 2 months back. Do you mean they didnot fix the screen properly???

When ever i put the sim card inside the phone it keeps on restarting again and again...sometimes gets on but without sim...i left to agra service center...they took a week and now saying that it can't be repaired...please help me out, what should i do now??????

I too have a Motorola A1200 with same Problem

but I know why it happens

as nowdays SIM cards are of 64K and old SIM cards are of 32K when I put 32K SIM it works but 64K SIM does not starts at all reboots again and again

try 32K SIM if you have...

Let me know if that was your problem
