I'm gonna flash my mobile..help needed

my firmware is 22p.. it doesn't support .mpkg.. so i planned to upgrade Konig's 22p firmware.. can u guys tell me.. what all the things to be followed before flashing... and how to flash with new firmware..

Things to do:

1. Backup everything you have on the phone memory (Contacts, Calendar events, SMSes if you need them). For only contacts and calendar, use Motorola phone tools. Extremely well working.

2. Charge up your phone as much as you can (very very impt)
