I use it but occasionally, coz I can't run it at startup.
From many day's I was thinking of doing something for this fingerpad.
So, finally yesterday I started making it by modifying some files.
Let's see how successful I can get.

Thanks for reminding about yan0_start. I just forgot to test with it.
Now I tested and it starts at boot when selected in yan0_start.
But, one problem, I've added the dialog for confirmation, "ON/OFF/Cancel".
So when it starts with boot, at that time also it asks for confirmation.

How can I ignore this at boot time only, any suggestions?

    off topic:
I don't know what's the problem with my yan0_start app.
Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.(when accessed thru App Manager)
Does it stop working even if I change the font?

    Default PKG App Attached

    Here's the app.
    Can someone test and comment.

Unzip and Install the PKG app.
Tap on program Icon to select ON/OFF.

    So far:
ON: Copies the files at path /mmc/mmca1 and Mounts the fingerpad. (It turns ON, without any difficulty. Even tested with yan0's startup app). Restart's AM.
OFF: Unmounts fingerpad. Removes the files from /mmc/mmca1. Restart's AM.

The problem is it stucks when removing the file fp.so
So, the only solution is to restart.

Can anyone check and help on this.

Hey boss thanks for this wonderful effort. Really thank you. But just a little suggestion, can you make it mount from the MyPrograms folder instead? I think we will have some issues with USB Mass Storage option if you do it thru MMC. I've attach the startup script here that gets it from MyPrograms folder. I'll wait until you get the OFF part working.

The app I made copies the files to mmc and then removes when you want to turn it off

The other option is just to unmount and restart AM, Keeping the files in place.(in /mmc/mmca1).
    This may work perfectly.

    What do you people think?
    Suggestions are welcome.

    @ryanchanmd:
Have you tried launching it thru MyPrograms folder?
    Does it work?

Hmm. I didn't have a choice to load it thru MyPrograms boss. Anyways. I've installed your app then run it to Activate FingerPad but it didn't take effect. It just copied am , fp.so, main.so in MMC/MMCA1. Can you give step by step procedures how to use this? But I like the idea of the three options. ON/OFF/CANCEL. Hope they works gloriously.

The one I used was always under /mmc/mmca1 folder.
So I made it that way.

Anyway's if it works in that way, than I can make it that way.

    @ryanchanmd:
But did the app worked? or it just copied the files on that folder path?

Sad to say. It didn't work boss. It just copied the files to my MMC. And please I strongly suggest to mount the file to Phone Memory\MyPrograms folder because if we do it thru MMC it will mess up the USB Mass storage mode.

Already took your suggestion, but just needed a confirmation.
Don't know but that one too should have run.
When using with MyPrograms folder, can we use the phone in Mass Storage?
    If yes, then that's cool.

Rename the attached file to .lin and replace with the one in the installed folder.
    i.e. at /mmc/mmca1/.system/QTDownLoad/fingerpad

OR use the attached pkg and reinstall.

Confirm if this works or not.

    Updates:
    - Changed the path to MyPrograms folder
    - Changed the code for removing the files, so OFF should also work now.

    Note:
Remove any files previously copied by this app on memory card, as this one will run from MyPrograms folder.
