Rename phone book categories

Hi,

1.I have 7 categories in my phone book.I just wanted to rename one category.How do I do this ?

2.and when I copy contacts from my phone memory to SIM card all the details ,say address,email..... not copied and i cant see those in my SIM card.

3.Is there a any application that I can export all my SMS's in to word document or notepad ?

1.Pls explain what actually do you mean by ''categories''
2.All the phone contact information will not be copied to sim card because a sim card has limited character space.
3.Use motorola phone tools to backup your contacts ,email,all other stuff in your pc.
As far as sms is concerned , i think you can view a sticky on ''saving sms on memory card''.If you are not comfortable then copy the sms content in form of notes and then transfer to pc in word document.

We can add First name,Last name,mobile,fax,email..... and finally we can assign the contact in to Particular category

Say I have friends,office...

So now I want to rename office in to another name

You cant do that....as far as i know....check the manual...

The closest alternative you have is to create a new category by the name you want, and transfer all the current category contacts to the new target category, and then delete the old category.
Of course, this idea only works if you dont already have the max number of categories, six, i think.
