8 GB memory cards are available but i am afraid that they are SDHC type and are not supported by ROKR E6. 4 GB NON SDHC card is available in market. I am using that and it is working fine.

8 gb micro sd card?
i read many forums about this some says its not possible but some says panasonic has released 8gb micro sd card . i dont know exactly but can anyone tell me about it if not then can sdhc be formatted to microsd & will it work on e6?

No you cannot convert SDHC card to non-SDHC card in any way, because it is hardware that differs in them.
purchase a non-SDHC SD card which available in Transcend as Secure Digital Card.

yes it is available. I live in Bangalore here it is available in S P Road. where do you live? you have to go to computer supermarket near you.

I just crashed my phone after i tried a 8gb card on it.In fact i can say i was pretty close to getting it to work..but ...as soon as my phone booted...a message came up: ''format memory out of range''! and then it refused to boot.
my objective to share this is that pls do not try a 8gb card ever in rokr e6 especially the amateur modders! i have flashed my phone 32 times in the past 1 month with various firmwares to test the compatibility with 8gb card and rokr e6 just refuses my request.
Also ,i have been with kingston 4gb card for the past 1 year with no probs...
