sticky threads closed

of late,i have seen that most of the sticky keys are closed.
why is it so?is there any problem?

There is no problem. We do that for some threads so that the essence of that thread is not lost. The stickies primarily serve as a first reference point to direct people where to look out for information and what they need to take care of. As such, some threads may be general, while others may be more specific. We encourage our members to use the discussion forums to then talk about a particular part of the sticky or any other issue worth highlighting and then see if something is missing or needs updating.

WAIT!! someone ACTUALLY read the sticky's? i'm SHOCKED!!!! Any way we can figure out how to get that concept to spread to the a1200 section?
