info service!!

hi gyz!
how can i enable "info service" in my mobile so that i can know the area i am in? i have tried almost all methods but cudn't get it workng!!
plz gyyz help!!

I was never able to get this working on T-Mobile either. I dont think it will.

what network are you on ?

It works for most by just setting the info service on and keeping channel = 50

(SMS > Service setup > info service)

tried it already?doesn't wrk.my frens r using this in the netwrk i m using n for me its not working.dun know why.
is this thing related with the firmware. i m using ahmans hybrid firmware.
help!!!
