actually the BEST thing to do to combat water is to use rubbing alcohol. If you remove the battery and pour a LITTLE bit of rubbing alcohol into the same place that the water entered your problem will be solved (the alcohol will evaporate the water while causing NO damage to electronics).
I have actually used this b4 after dropping a phone into a sink, took the battery out IMMEDIATELY and submerged the phone briefly in a cup of rubbing alcohol and then allowed to dry OUT of direct sunlight, popped the battery back in and VIOLA'.....not for the faint of heart, but it works....
