need help with my phone memory...!!

recently ma phone srted saying yur phone memory is very low.. install yur programs/software in yur memory card... tht why ma gba is also not running.. and i can't install my themes..???? wat to du..??????

Try the following
1. Backup all ur contacts, calender, images, themes, etc that u have on ur phone memory
2. Do a Master Reset, this would reset ur phone to vanilla state!
3. Restore ur contacts and calender.
4. Set the video and camera storage location to ur TF.

Make sure you -
5. Install all softwares on ur TF.
6. Do not install themes that u don't use, coz themes sit only on the phone memory.

hmmm.. what is this...TF..???? can't i just install the themes in phone sumwhere..????? and nuthing is used of phone..... .... coz i hve installed without restarting theme software...... i don't knw how to back up things..???

TF - TransFlash, a.k.a memory card.

Just a few questions to help u better!
1. How long have u been using ur phone?
2. Have you read thro the stickies?
3. Do u have any software like Smart Assistant, Mega Launcher, etc??

U're phone has limited memory, which does double duty as the processors Primary Storage area (RAM) also as user storage area. You can install things on ur phone but u should avoid it as much as u can. If u keep installing themes and apps on ur phone mem then eventually u wud have consumed all the phone memory leaving the phone without much RAM to do its work.

One piece of advice just install the theme that u use and remove the ones that u don't!

i hve been using the phone for past 6 months... i never read those books tht are given with it....no... i hve mpkg installer..lin loader...busy box...show Q.. rock box...splash..splash installer.. Qei lock.....vista clock..M cleaner... themes installer...

When ppl say they have 50-60 MB of system data they probably mean the size of .system folder on their TF, or the phones internal read only data, which is required for the phone to work properly.

No, ur phone cannot use the card mem to exec apps. It can max use some space on ur card mem as swap space to swap out data.

Try SYSInfo to get a clear picture of ur main mem usage! Try any of the tools that I've mentioned in my prev post to get a back up, else try the MPT.

Hope u've installed all the apps on ur card mem!

and one more thing.

English is not the native language of a lot of members in this forum.

Then its probably getting installed on ur TF! No issues there. But themes always get insalled only on the phone mem. so it is a possible culprit! just remove the ones that u don't use!
