    Hey thanks for the reply.

    Do I need to double click the msi file to install the drivers or do I specify the location of the msi file when prompted by the 'found new hardware' window when connecting the phone via usb?

    Thanks for your help in advance.

    I believe you would double click, since an msi file is an install/setup file. The drivers would be contained inside the package. Make sure you have the windows installer (3.1 should be sufficient) or the file won't work, but it does come with windows.

    Its Just simple as cutting a birthday cake..

    * A Windows runnning PC make sure you have windows XP or higher
    * A motorola E6 / A1200 (with Full charged battery)
    * RSD Lite v4.2 or higher recommended.
    * Motorola PC USB Driver V4.2 or higher recommended.
    * Motorola V3 USB cable.

    Procedure
    =======
    * Install Motorola PC USB Driver and RSD lite
    * Run RSD Lite on windows.
    * Turn off your Motorola Phone.
    * Press VR key (voice recognition key below camera key) + Power key.
    * You will see RED BOOTLOADER screen on your motorola device
    * Connect your phone to PC using USB cable.
    * Wait till PC installs the driver automatically
    * After RSD lite shows that Motorola Flash device is connected.
    * Browse the flash file you want to flash to (Flash file.sbf make sure it is an .sbf file)
    * Hit the flash button.
    * Wait and observe the flash procedure till 100%.
    * After it is 100% It will give command to phone to reboot and you will see your phone is booting on new firmware. (do not disconnect now)
    * Wait till the RSD lite shows PASS as result .
    * If it shows Please manually restart your phone then just restart your phone .
    * and make a master clear so that your phone becomes clean with preloaded stuff..

    Precautions
    ========
    * Make sure you have full charged battery before you start flashing your phone.
    * Do not Disconnect your phone while in flash process as this may cause damage to your device.
