Hey
I have ported Lua and Perl scripting languages to Motorola E6, tested on firmware 09, works great. Tested under telnet session, the links contain binaries (compressed with 7zip).
It's my first port of software, hope someone will find it useful
Porting was eaaasy, lua: ''make ansi'', perl: ''make -f Makefile.micro''. Poof! Made with Toolchain for Windows/cygwin from samr7 and FoxE6.
It's not .pkg to be installed, just extract it and put wherever you want.
@liiv: Yeah, I'll try to port ruby on Monday, as well as Python
@Viper89: These are interpreters for the Lua and Perl languages. So you could write scripts for these, not for just (ugly) bash language.
Later I'll try to make .pkg, so you could select, say, .pl file and assign it to Perl, it'd be cool
ps. I use windows, so I have no problems with dropbox
Of course. I already finished porting tcl, now working on ruby, php and tcc (tiny c compiler) are next
Oh, and I compiled SDL (I want to port Open Transport Tycoon), but still have to test. Still having problems with ncurses (for programs like irssi) but I hope I'll make it soon.
Would anyone care to create .pkg's? I'm so lazy...
When all is done I'll make another thread with all stuff I ported/will port.
Great news than...
As for the package I suggest that all the interpreters should be integrated in only one pkg so that there won't be many useless icons in the menu.
sorry to bother you guys...
but if someone can tell, what these things really do,it would be a big help for blokes like us, who are really in the dark with this one...
