It looks like your gonna have to replace the digitizer. How did that happen?
Okay, there's a part of my screen on the right side that I've noticed what looks like a hole appearing. I can't feel it as it's under the outer screen, so I'm assuming it's between the housing and the LCD screen. Also, the touchscreen is becoming unresponsive in the area of the hole. It hasn't become a problem until now. It makes it hard to scroll on the contact pages and other pages. I'm wondering the best way to fix this. Do I need to buy a new housing or a new digitizer? Or how should I fix it? I've attached a picture of my phone so you can see what I'm talking about.

so long and thanks for all the fish
When I got it used it had a real small spot over there and it just kept growing. Man from what I read the digitizer will be tough to replace.
Yeah, this is not going to be fun, Do you know someone who is good with small electronics down there? If you want to wait until I come down again, I can try to help you, but I cant guarantee that Ill be any good at it![]()
BTW, I mailed you the screen protectors this morning![]()

Yeah, I could probably wait until you come down here. It's not causing too much of a problem now. If you think that's what it is, I'll go ahead and pick one up on ebay to have it ready.
Thanks for sending those out. I owe you. You think I should go ahead and put one on there or do you think it's a moot point at this stage?
I dont think its worth putting the screen protector on now.
there is someone in this thread:
How to flash when touchscreen doesn't work? - Page 2 - MotorolaFans.com Forums
who is replacing their digitizer, last time they posted, he had the phone completely apart. I would suggest sending him a private message and maybe he could give some advice.

I'll keep an eye on that one, thanks.
The LCD screen is broken. You're going to have to replace the LCD screen (if your digitizer fails to work as well that can be added to your list) eBay has been the cheapest place for anything E6
