Phone not detecting Headset!

Hi,all
sometimes my E6 not detecting headset.....
it takes some time to detect...sometimes not...
i don know the exact reason.....
f/w 09P modded...
please help...

you are talking about the bluetooth headset or the wired one??

Clean the contacts, first the handsfree and then the phone, using a earbud but be careful not to damage the phone, sometimes if you've happened to drop a bit of water inside it happens. Also it sometimes is a s/w issue. Reboot the phone and try again.

E6 supprts the standard 3.5 mm jack right??

try using a different set of earphones.. (can even plugin your PC speakers)

That'll tell you whether the problem is with the headset or the handset.

Its dirty or wet contacts most probably

I will go to motocare and ask them to change that connector...I think that can solve my problem...
