Internet in ROKR E6

I know GPRS is available in E6. Please tell me that can I browse the web with in my E6? (not in PC with help of E6). I want to configure internet within my E6, that I can access the web whereever I go.

Why else do you think it has an internet browser? Did you by chance get a manual with your phone? This is covered there.

Yes, you have to setup the 'internet' connection on your phone for your Internet service, then whenever you open up a internet application(opera/browser) it will ask you to choose your internet connection and it will work then.

Just make sure you have a good data plan from your cellular company so you don't get over charged on browsing

If i'm not wrong, you live in India.

Most popular telecom companies there (read: Vodafone and Airtel) supply normal GPRS plans for 10ps/10kb, so it's like 10 bucks for an MB of download. They also have an automated hotline wherein all you need to do is send a specific SMS to a specific number, and they will automatically do the required configuration on you phone, by creating a necessary internet profile on it.

Also, try using browsers such as Opera Mini, which will route all your data through an intermediate server, which will compress all sizes. So a big page like say yahoo.eurosport.com, which on a normal basis would take about 400-600kb of download, will come to ur phone for as less as 30kb.

You will need to flash to a different firmware. The stock .10p doesnt allow mpkg installation.
