PKG files

Ok, I know this may seem like a silly question to most of you, but I'm new to these phones. (Not new to Moto however, very old hand heh).

Once I've installed X program via pkg file, is it then possible to delete, or move the pkg file to another folder out of the MS root?

Hi Darknova, Once a program is installed then the pkg file is no longer required - neither to upgrade nor to uninstall. You can safely move the same to some folder for archiving. Rgds Sandy

and how do we remove the pkg app that we added?

Hmm.. that would invariably lead to the question of how you added it in the first place?

Anyway, to remove, you can connect the phone to your comp using USB mode, then navigate using Windows Explorer to the folder where you copied on the .pkg file, right click on it, and then click on Delete
