i think u should change ur skin and see,and incase it has something to do with wondermoto,remove it first.and uninstall in wondermoto is just used to run uninstall mode for applications,nothin else.i just checked the way u said wondermoto uninstall mode,there is no problem at all.theres somethin else bugging ur phone.whats ur f/w?

HELP!!LCD GOES BLACK when i lock my phone by sidelock
pls help me ...i started like this...
i hav installed WONDERMOTO app on my e6..
there is UNINSTALL tab in wondermoto app .. i try 2 check out what is it after taping that tab it says uninstallation complete ...
then my phone restarted itself then ....the PROBLEM starts after restart
when i tryed to open any .pkg i.e any MPKG app then i cant access those.... and then after when i lock my phone By manual SIDELOCK on right side of the e6 then the screen goes black...
then i hav formated my phone but the problem continues ...
WHEN EVER I LOCK MY PHONE BY SIDE LOCK THE LCD GOES BLACK ....
WHEN A CALL CAME I CANT SEE WHO IS CALLING ..
THEN I HAV TO UNLOCK IT MANUALY THEN I CAN SEE THE NAME OF THE CALLER..
ANOTHER THING IS FINE...
BUT PLS HELP ME OUT HERE.........

The reason the pkg apps stopped working, most likely, is because uninstall switches the phone into uninstall mode, meaning you can delete the .pkg apps, when normally you cant. The phone would need to be switched back to 'run' mode when you are finished.
As for the lock... I dunno...

@crazpiyush i suggest you try to set run mode on for your phone using some other application like smartassistant or so..and see.Last edited by angry_machine; 04-21-2008 at 05:12 PM.

mayb if all these above doesnt work try out reflashing ur phone with ur firmware

no need for flashing just install smart asst and switch to run mode then do a master reset... but again u hav to unlock edge quadband and n/w time using radiocomm

u should have underclocked your phoone ,...and uninstalled wondermoto without normal clocking it.....tats the problem..........download clock control.pkg from the e6 applications section and change the clock to normal...............all should be ok.............

the lock thing happens to me only when i overclock the phone. i don't know about you
