I'm not sure on this.. Just a weird suggestion. Maybe your phone is syncing with your network time, and that could be wrong?
OK .. so heres the problem ..
I had to a time when i got the phone ,,, and now I want to change it an hour ahead. (cuz we a daylight savings time).
But every time i change the time and save it .... after a while it goes back to the same time it was at ..
so I cant seem to figure out a way where I can change the time and save it ...
any suggestions ?
thanks.

hey in your phone it asks for local city which should be New Delhi. and city 1& city 2 go for any other city(new york or any other city). But local city& city 1 or city 2 should be same. Hope this may help you.
thanks xeta... but i wish that was happening.. cuz if it was syncing with my network time .. i wouldn't have to change time .. it would have picked daylight savings itself.
by the way.. do u know how i can make it sync with my network time??
bunny .. i am not in delhi ... i am in Toronto, Canada. and we have daylight savings time, where the whole country changes their time for 2/year...
and i tried your suggestion but it I cant seem to keep the local city& city 1 or city 2 the same .. the phone wont allow me.![]()
THANKS for your time guys!!!
For starters, I couldnt understand anything that Bunny wrote. I have 3 separate cities and two of them, ie, city1 and city2 have daylight savings (even opposite ones, cuz one's in europe and the other's in australia) whereas the local city doesnt have anything. And it's all working perfectly.
@yamaha: i think i know what ur problem is. The E6 is a chinese model, if i'm not wrong, released officially only in australia/asia/europe. Here, the daylight saving comes into effect different than north america. i mean, u guys have already switched the daylight saving time this march, but for europe and australia, it switches on the last sunday of march. so maybe if u are ready to wait for half a month more, it will automatically change it! Ha ha.
Alternately, here's the sticky for network time sync:

Hope all this helps,
