Hi, that means that either smth. went wrong when connecting your phone and installing drivers or inappropriate setup is applied to Rdiocomm.
Presuming you installed the latest drivers for your phone in Windows (it would ask you for the drivers if you install Radiocomm and then connect your phone in the <Modem> mode and it would be installing like 15 different components as separate drivers) you need to set your phone in <Modem> mode as I already told and then in Radiocomm in application bar go to [Main]-> [MA]-> set [GSM] and in [Settings] -> [TCPIP]-> set [M-Link USB LAN Drive]. After you do this RadioComm icon in the systray should be of any color except red. In my case it is green and it says <USB TC> - once you get the same you can activate Edge with Alpha's script as described.
Wish you luck - let us know the progress and ask me if you need further assistance.

    Hi Nitz, glad you succeeded!
Ok, here's the basic info on both GPRS and EDGE in order for you to have the general idea:
GPRS stands for "General Packet Radio Service" and supports data transfer from 56 up to 114 kbps.
EDGE stands for "Enhanced Data rates for GSM Evolution" (also known as Enhanced GPRS) and supports data transfer up to 236.8 kbps.
What regarding your doubts... well, considering abovementioned info on both GPRS and EDGE I think you should obviously see connection speed difference.
You can test your speed - here's the link - http://text.dslreports.com/mspeed?jisok=1
Hope that helps - please keep me updated what connection speed you reach and there's another question what Firmware and what GSM provider you have?

Airtel GSM - you're in India, right?
Anyways, 115 kbps for your phone means that EDGE is activated indeed since you can take a quick look here and see that GPRS in E6 supports only 32 - 48 kbps.
In order to check your firmware go to dialpad and enter www008w
(In order to get "w" in dialpad press button in the bottom left corner go to [Insert] and select <Wait(W)>)
By the way Nokia 6300 has the same class EDGE component as ROKR E6 (Class 10) what actually means (taking into consideration facts you provided) that Airtel GSM lobbies for Nokia, hehehe
    Ok, hear from you soon!

Regarding "no EDGE"// haha! Bulshit, these guys from extragsm never really cared about even looking at official phone specifications from Motorola - you can find facts sheet for our phone attached to my post - check it.
What considering voice recording without beeps as I commented in your other post regarding it there's no such possibility yet.

    Hi Chennai,
the easiest way for you would be to check what letter appears beside antenna signal indicator when you're connecting to Internet on your mobile browser. If it is "E" then you have your Edge activated, if it's "G" then you're running GPRS connection.
