    Default Custom Firmware without Lag??

Hey guys, you all know how the E6 lags. I don't run any programs in the background, and I still get lag constantly. I even power cycle once a day. The main culprit being real player. Are there any custom firmwares that resolve this problem? I'm currently running .08. Is there anything else really worth flashing to right now? If there isn't anything right now? What about the near future? I'm really thinking of going to a w580i.

All firmwares lag so there is no perfect f/w
As for the playlist lag... I don't know... Do you have many songs in the playlist? The lag might appear because of low memory in the internal phone memory. Have you tried activating a swap file just to see if it continues to lag?

There is a solution to it, a bad one. But it works nevertheless. Go here:

and use the overclocking application. It removes most noticable lag. But I've had problems running some applications after activating overclock.

    Hope that helps,

    and of course,

one of my friend says that the lagg might be because of some hardware problem inside my cell..
ive flashed my cell many times as though its hardly 5-6 months old. will the ppl in service centre clear the problem out?

The swap does help somewhat, but what I'm looking for is basically a resolution to the lag with a custom f/w sometime down the road. Will it be possible, or does the hardware cast restrictions on performance that a f/w just will not provide a workaround for?

@anurag: i think the phone came with that much lag. and u better not take a flashed phone to the customer service guys, not that they can help you anyway.

@ftdn: Well, I'm thinking that if a custom firmware could have solved it, some genius would have already come up with one which has no lag, dont you think? So i'm not too hopeful of anything in the future that will reduce the lag drastically..

Remove all drm files from your memory card first. Then post up a video of your phone lag and we can tell you if its normal or not
