Please provide - MPKG installer for E6

Hi,

I have tried searching the forum and also the guide to modding E6. But I could not find any link for MPKG installer.

Can someone please be so kind to provide me with the installer for PKG files.

Hey, try the A1200 stickies. You can use MPKG, Smart Assistant, or Superman. I personally wouldnt advise SmartAsst, cuz i've had problems with it trying to install PKGS, nevertheless, good for some other stuff.

Hi Lokam,

1. Download .system.zip from the attachment and unpack it to any folder - there's [.system] folder inside.
2. Connect your phone as mass storage device.
3. In the root of you SD card there's the same folder [.system]
(if you do not see it then you should enable displaying of hidden/system folders on your PC)
4. Copy directory [MPKG] from [.system]/[QTDownload] to [.system]/[QTDownload] of your SD
5. Download BabelPad.zip from the attachment and unpack it somewhere to your PC.
6. Run BabelPad.exe (it's a text editor , but do not use window's notepad instead)
7. Open CardRegistry file from [.system]/[java] with this text editor
8. Copy text from CardRegistry file from [.system]/[java] of package you downloaded in the 1st step to [.system]/[java]/CardRegistry file of your SD card
(do not replace the text in it - just add)
9. Save changes
10. Disconnect your phone and reboot.

Now you have an MPKG/PKG installer on your phone

in [.system]/[java]/ directory of my sd card, i have only one restry file and that is" .RegistryFileCard.dat".. should i follow the 8th step in this file???

when i simply copying and pasting the downloaded.system file to my sd card..
i m getting a blue icon with exclamation mark..and when i try to open any .pkg file with it,, i get a msg saying " invalid application file the file cannot be used"..
somebody plzz help me as i m a newbie in this....
