E6 General Chat Motorola ROKR E6 is somehow a candybar version of the A1200 as they functions very similarly but with far more multimedia capabilities!

i also had the same problem. then i reinstalled the drivers and started from the beginning.
install the motorola driver installer. then go to start>programs>motorola driver installer>motorola driver installer.exe. then click on clean and reinstall then start. after all drivers are intalled exit. now follow the steps. shud work.

I'm stuck on steps 13 & 14. I've done all the steps up to there as directed, a couple different ways and again as directed.

When I input "ipconfig", the 192.168.16.1 is listed as an IPv4 address. Step 13 is just stating why you use the number 192.168.16.2 ,right? But when I type in "telnet 192.168.16.2" (Step 14) it says that " 'telnet' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. "

Any thoughts?

Because I found it annoying to keep tnlg in /mmc/mmca1/sbin/tnlg, and even more annoying to tap on it, open with... usbnet, I created faster and better way. It required some hex editing to in.telnetd source, but well ...

http://dl.getdropbox.com/u/28596/Motorola/motnet.pkg
- download, install, connect your phone, tap on 'motnet' in menu and done, you can now telnet to it/explore through samba. Later I'll add ftpd to this package, I think it's even better than samba to upload files.
