Text editor for E6

Is there a text editor for our phones? I only came to VIM, found on A1200 section, but it's not working on E6 (or I don't know how to make it work):

I installed the pkg file, but then when I tap on the icon it doesn't do anything... in the tutorial it is said that an eKonsole window should appear when launching the app.

there is is built in thing called notes, not that it is of great help. nevertheless, if u are unaware of it.

I'm aware of Notes, you hardly can call that a text editor lol, but I guess I'll use the Notepad in Windows 3.1, although it's not what you call reliable or easy too read, or fast
But that's it, what can we do!?
This phone really needs a text editor. It has almost everything else
