SwapFile creation

How could i succesfully create a functional swapfile?
I tried with MySwap and i've created a 64MB swapfile. The problem is that in Memory Status and in Task Manager the memory didn't change even if MySwap application says that the swap is active. Also there don't seem to be any improvements in speed of games or dosbox or any other app.
So how could i create a swapfile? Is there another app for doing it or is there any manual method?

You cannot see any direct number changes in the Task Manager's System Memory's status. You'll need a program like sysinfo to check it up.

You can do one more thing though. Don't run MySwap, and try opening about 3/4 java apps, like say Real Player + Picsel Viewer + Viren's Dictionary. I actually did this once cuz i was reading a book along with music and I needed the meaning of a word. This wouldn't happen. The phone came back saying "Out of mem. Do you want to close a few apps?" Then try it with MySwap enabled. Poof! works like a charm.

i realised witch is the problem after installing sysinfo..
the swapfile stays active until rebooting the phone..
after rebooting if i want it active i have to deactivate the swapfile and reactivate
although the 64mb swapfile is active and working, dosbox still lags even in the old mario game.. is there any optimised dosbox configuration to make the lagg dissapear?
