My E6 doesn't ring anymore.. Please help!

was this problem posted before?

i haven't done anything to it and i haven't dropped it before and it happened monthes after i got it back in january 2007

now i have to leave it on vibrate at all times but sometimes i still miss the calls

please help if you know what the solution might be

Does other music play through the speaker?

Mine stopped making sound once before... nothing... no ringtones, music, or key beeps... No reason for it either. It just stopped. Had to flash it

It's a pretty vague possibility, but i had it once. If in exmms, you go to options and select that the music be played through headphones, then it stops playing it thru the speakers.

And as we all know it and weirdly enough, exmms settings seem to apply globally. So, it's just a hunch, cuz i had the prob once. You just put that on headphone mode, and then you forget all about it, and the phone's ringing goes for a toss.

Mine sometimes rings with interruptions, always when somebody is calling, the sound through the loud speaker works fine in all the players.
I tried to put the ringtone from the card, as well from the phone memory, but still sometimes I get the tone fragmented when I'm getting a call.
It's not a hardware problem, is it?

Are you using your own ring tone off your sd card? If you are just eject and reinsert sd card. That worked for me.
