Phone periodically freezes after SD change

After upgrading to a 2 gig SD, I noticed that my phone would occasionally freeze or takes long to access applications even contact details.
Initially I got an error that the card needed formatting when I first installed it, but after a full format on the phone that error went away.
Any ideas?

same thing happened to me. when I scroll for music files in a folder (approx. 1.2 gig in size) the application just hangs up. what I tried to do from time to time is to disable and re-enable myswap program with 128mb swap file whenever I encounter this problem.

I was using 2G cards, no problem, remove all .drm music files from your card and then try.

Can you help me how to post a new thread? ( like all what we see in Todays posts daily), when i am trying to post a new thread , i was receiving insufficient privileges, i have prepared lots of .phm files with bundles of my new collection 240*320 gifs to our themes for A1200 from 5 days continuous explore. Could you please suggest me the steps to prepare new post, as i am seeing all the guys were able to post any kind of things!!

Ok, in my case, I seriously suspected that the card was faulty as the retailers gave me this card at a reduced price because it was open previously to be tried in another device. Now I am thinking that maybe it didn't work in that other device because something was wrong with it. I did put it in my phone right there and the phone recognized it, so I thought it was ok.
I bought a new card yesterday and everything seems to be working a lot better so far. It is a lot faster too.
Moral: Rip open the package yourself.
