How does qeilock impact the battery life of E6?

I am tired of the hardware lock on the E6 and would like to try the cool "iphone" look software lock called qeilock. I read that this is the best screen locker to date but I am also aware that this will have an impact on the battery life.

The question is how much does it hit on the battery? I am now charging my E6 every 2 days. Do I need to charge it everyday if I start using qeilock? Will this harm the E6 in anyway?

qeilock, java screen lock, screenlocker, all of them consumes more battery.
My battery usage drop from 3 days to 1.5 days.

ya it does impact the battery in a somewhat noticeable way...
my advice is to only use it only when you need to put in your pocket like when your going out or sth...
if your at home and ur E6 is just sitting on a table or sth... just use the hardware lock or dont even lock ur E6
