[help] i couldn't see any1 has same FW as mine.

hello guys, i really like this forum and i have learnt alot since the two days ago.

anyway, now i'm planning to update my FW, cause i want to install new apps and i'm really confused about those tons of posts and apps. so i can't be clear enough to decide wha to do.

i checked my firmware ver. and since i got in here i didn't see any post about some1 has same version of mine, it's R533H8_G_11.22.20R

why is it different ? and is it old or new ? and the most important thing to me, is what's the proper version i should install.

any way, i'm downloading now R533_G_11_12_09P , but i won't use it till i hear from u .

I personally think that you should not switch to other firmware unless it has some highly extraordinary stuff,facilities and other applications than which your current f/w has..

Using non-factory f/w will void warranty..


You can always add functionality by using the applications(pkg's or jars)..

so, u mean i can start using the applications via these "PKG / Jars " , eh ?

would u help through this plz ? is there a certain version i should have of PKG'S ?

There are lot of applications in E6 applications section and other threads too..

You can try using them..

Firstly Install MPKG loader to install pkg applications(like scientific calculator and all)..

For jar applications(like games), you just need to tap(click) on the app in SD card and install in Memory card itself(not phone memory)..

1. Yes, if you flash your phone with some other firmware, your current language will go.

2. There are lots of language packs. Check DaGr8's modded firmware thread. There's lot of talk there about language packs.

3. As of now, there is no way to backup ur current firmware.
