Is your GPRS enaled?
Probably is a stupid question, but Im really new to modifying my phone,,,,

How do I fix this? Thanks!!!!![]()
Is your GPRS enaled?
YOU SHOULD HAVE ACTIVE GPRS CONNECTION WITH PROPER SETTING.
For activation of gprs and setting contact your service provider. After this U have to enabled GPRS FROM UR PHONE.To enabled it tap on the space on your homescreen where time icon in the right side and network strength on the left side is placed. Then screen comes like this......
Here is a GPRS option.Enabled it and all done.
Enjoy your browsing.......
If u find it useful then kindly tab on thanks button bellow..
One (or both) of the following:
1. Your GPRS is not enabled / provided by your operator.
2. Your GPRS is provided and enabled but your network profile is not configured. Call up your operator's helpline and ask them for your GPRS settings. Then create a profile for it in your Setup --> Data Network --> New Profile and use that profile in your browser's settings.
Hope that helps

If you are from India, I can help you more with it. Most GPRS configurations are automatic here, all you have to do is send a specific message to the operator, and it will auto create a profile for you on your phone saying "Software Update".
Otherwise, just try and ask some of your friends who use GPRS with the same operator as yours.

Edit: Oops, i see something in the pic which says HongKong. Sorry.

i had this problem with my previous firnmware which was not indian
so i uploaded the indian firmware having websessions of hutch etc
so find it
This might be helpful to you. You dont need an Indian firmware to use it. You can install any firmware of your choice, and then just call up your Airtel / Vodafone call centers and ask them for the GPRS profile. They'll give it to you. That way, you can run the firmware of your choice.
Case in point, I'm using DaGr8's 08 modded f/w, and I'm having good access of Vodafone's GPRS.
hope that helps,
