Memory card Q

I have 2 questions about the memory card:
1 How should it be formatted? FAT FAT16 or FAT32?
2 How can I backup everything if I want to change cards... a simple copy and paste will work?
Ussually I get all the answers from the previous posts, but now I couldn't find anything. Thanks

1. FAT and FAT16 are one and the same, the card has to be formatted in FAT/FAT16
2. Make sure you enable View Hidden folders in your OS on the computer, then cpy all the files on your mem card onto your desktop, make sure the .system file is included which is a hidden file, and copy them back
